Fredericton Radio Club
Special General Meeting (SGM)
on Tuesday August 10 at 7:00pm.
The following positions are going to be available and elections are to be held for them at the SGM:
* Spoken Word Coordinator
* Music Programming Coordinator
* Sports Coordinator
* Promotions & Public Relations Coordinator
* Secretary/Treasurer**
* Music Director
In addition, we have no one currently sitting in a number of other positions. These can’t be elected at this time, but if you are interested in performing the role, you can be appointed to that position until we hold proper elections in the Annual General Meeting in September.
These vacant seats are:
* Cultural Programming Coordinator
* Music Programming Coordinator
* News Coordinator
* Technical Coordinator
We also have three non-voting representative positions available on the Executive:
* Leo Hayes High School Representative
* FHS High School Representative
* GBLTQ Representative
If you are interested in holding any of these positions, all you need to do is attend the Special General Meeting, put your name forward and be elected by the group. If you want the meeting to be more successful, I would also encourage you to spread the word to other station members and encourage them to go.
I do not currently have a room booked for this meeting, but I expect it to be held in the normal room where most of our meetings are held, in the Student Union Building.
I will shortly announce the Annual General Meeting. I have a tentative date for this as September 15 — I hope to solidify this date in the next two weeks.
