CHSR Session 028: Fatality

Remy from Where Monsters Dwell set up a fast-paced interview with Spencer from metal band Fatality, over the phone and fresh on their tour. Though this isn’t exactly a session, they chat about everything from drugs to how this tour is going. They promote their fellow bands, mini-tours and everything else you can imagine. CHSR Session 026: Michou

Windsor, Ontario’s Michou stopped by in mid-May to perform in Session in Studio D. The band to talked to Station Manager Tim Rayne about the band’s baby-years origin and being a DIY band. CHSR Session 025: Moonshine Ramblers

Halifax’s sprawling bluegrass band The Moonshine Ramblers (along with Tom Terrell and three quarters of The Modern Grass Quartet) rambled into town at the last minute. Quebec’s cancellation was our benefit, as they stopped into CHSR to talk bluegrass, shifting instruments, reggae and bluegrass — and play unstoppable music. Hosted by Mark The Encaffeinated ONE (of The WEIRD Show) and boards operated by Matt Nightingale (of Run For Your Life!).
