There’s a huge interest — and action<\/em>! — in eating local. That means you not only have some transparency in where your food comes from, but you can be assured that it comes from a farmer or producer not that far from you.<\/p>\n

Combine that with more conscientiously-produced food, lower reliance on pesticides and chemicals, and suddenly, the food tastes better!<\/p>\n

My guest today is Kim Lawrence<\/strong>, one of the co-owners of Real Food Connections<\/strong><\/a>. This family-run business is quickly bridging the gap between local food producers and local food consumers, stimulating interest and awareness (as well as a lot of good eatin’!) in making a diet of good food produced in your backyard. We talk about where Real Food Connections comes from, what it has grown into and plans for the future!<\/p>\n
