\"LunchBox-TheatreUNB-Slavs\"<\/a>One of the biggest socio-political changes in the modern world is the transformation of Russia from what it was to what it is today — and it’s still changing.<\/p>\n

How do you understand such a change? How do you comment on it<\/p>\n

That is one aspect of Slavs!<\/em>, the darkly humourous play written by Tony Kushner<\/strong><\/a> and to be performed as the season opener of Theatre UNB<\/strong>, starting October 27 and running nightly at 8pm until October 31. My guests today are Alex Pannier<\/strong> and Aaron Ellis<\/strong>, two of the UNB student actors involved in the play. They play Poppy<\/strong> and Rodent<\/strong>, respectively, and along with performing part of a scene live in studio, we talked about how they became actors, how it was to learn these parts (and their complicated Russian names), and what this play presents to its audience.<\/p>\n
