During the summer, the Fredericton Arts Alliance<\/strong><\/a> brings a pair of artists together in the Barracks to practice their art for all to see. These artists come from a wide variety of disciplines, from painting and sculpture to basket-weaving and writing. As each pair of artists comes in, we’ll be talking to them on the Lunchbox.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jennifer McInnis-Wharton<\/strong><\/a> is a student attending the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD)<\/strong><\/a>, where she has devoted her studies to the art of pottery. She joins me to talk about the structural explorations she’s considering, the joy of talking to kids about pottery, and just how much fire can be involved when making art. You can see some of her work in the student gallery currently exhibited at NBCCD.<\/p>\n
