\"LunchBox-KidsHelpPhone\"<\/a>Being human can be lonely and confusing some times; it can be hard to talk to people you know about things which are in your head. Kid’s Help Phone<\/a> exists to listen to kids and offer a voice of support, a sounding board and a place to turn when no where else makes sense.<\/em><\/p>\n

My guest today is Shannon<\/strong>, a Counseling Manager with Kids Help Phone<\/strong><\/a>. With Fredericton Pride<\/a><\/strong> right around the corner, it’s a good time to think about what sorts of questions kids might have about gender, sexuality and celebration. We talk about the opportunities Pride presents, how to prepare for Pride, and things both positive and negative that should be considered.<\/p>\n

Fredericton Pride Week<\/strong><\/a> kicks off this Friday with a flag-raising at noon at City Hall, and runs for an entire week with a parade and several events around the city. Take Pride, everyone!<\/p>\n
