This Montreal group combines elements of folk, jazz, sea shanty, rockabilly, klezmer and a dozen other traditions into a rockin&#8217;, rollickin&#8217;, foot-stompin&#8217; music they&#8217;ve dubbed &#8220;whiskeybillie&#8221;. It&#8217;s part pirate crew, part jazz trio, part kitchen party, and all fun. We talked about how this band came about, the broad range of influences that go into it, and the reception across Canada and throughout Europe to their brand of music.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re playing in Fredericton on <strong>August 9<\/strong> at <strong>7:30pm<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/grimross.com\/\"><strong>The Grimross Brewing Company<\/strong><\/a>.
