 <\/p>\n

Synthesis is our first look at Moncton tech-death band Psychotropy. The band is composed of vocalist Noah Arsenault and Metal Bukkake founders Jonathon Lurette and Chris Doucet. The track is a perfect representation of what the metal community on the east coast enjoys, wave after wave of blasts and the vile, finger-breaking riffs of extreme metal. The lyrical content is saturated with grotesque adjectives that inject images of mutant, cronenberg-esque creatures into your subconscious. Stopping only for well placed, witty samples of the films \u201cThe Thing\u201d and \u201cSlither\u201d, the song contains zero filler and is propped up only by the talents of its two special guests, Alain Levesque and Alex Olmstead. Levesque brings the enforcement of his other band Mindless Viscosity to the table by attacking the songs riffs with intensity while Olmstead provides his solid yet aggressive bass tones which are status quo for him in his band Malixiria. Synthesis has a high IQ when it comes to song structure and Psychotropy is an intriguing new force in east coast metal. A can\u2019t miss band through the rest of 2017 and into 2018.<\/p>\n
