Today our guest is Joanne, who has struggled with poverty through part of her adult life. This interview is a perfect example of First Voice experience with poverty, homelessness and working through the maze that is government bureaucracy. <\/span><\/p>\n

Joanne does not sugarcoat her experiences but with her educational background (she has a BA and Masters in Sociology and began her PhD at McMaster University) she is uniquely equipped to observe, study and understand the system first hand. <\/span><\/p>\n
