\"\"<\/a>I had the chance to sit down with Notable Acts<\/strong><\/a> co-founder\u00a0Len Falkenstein<\/strong> and a pair of directors (Julianne Richard<\/strong> and\u00a0Alex McAllister<\/strong>) about their experience and excitement about the two one-act plays coming up as this year’s Acting Out production.\u00a0Julianne Richard<\/strong> is directing the play\u00a0Life Goes On<\/em>, written by\u00a0Muriel Falkenstein<\/strong>, which deals with reflections of the teenager’s experience of 2020’s digital response to pandemic living.\u00a0Alex McAllister<\/strong> directs\u00a0MAD About Van Horne\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>by New Brunswick playwright\u00a0Ron Kelly Spurles<\/strong>, which highlights a historical moment when a play was being used to attract the attention of the widow of a wealth citizen.<\/p>\n

Acting Out Loud: One-Act Plays<\/strong><\/a> runs as a twin-bill performance from July 29-31<\/strong>, 7:30pm<\/strong> nightly on the stage at Memorial Hall on UNB Campus<\/strong>.\u00a0Tickets will be available at the door for 15$ regular, 10$ senior\/student\/underwaged.
