My guests today are Ian Murphy <\/strong>(“Uncle Vanya”) and Jilly Hanson<\/strong> (“Sonya”), two of the actors for the upcoming production (and triumphant return!) of Next Folding Theatre Company<\/strong>, a modern adaptation by Conor McPherson of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya<\/strong><\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We chat about how this dysfunctional family story still strikes a chord today, and what to expect from this production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uncle Vanya<\/em><\/strong> runs from November 4 through 6<\/strong> at a the Open Space Theatre, with nightly shows at 7pm<\/strong> and a matin\u00e9e performance at 2pm<\/strong> on Saturday<\/strong>. Reserve your tickets or pick them up at the door.<\/a><\/p>\n
