One of the most exciting crops to be harvested each late summer is new performances of new plays.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

My guests today are all participants in this year’s NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival<\/a><\/strong>: Len Falkenstein<\/strong> (festival organizer; director); Olivia Onalundala<\/strong> (High School Playwright: “Little Rock”<\/em>); Merrit Johnson<\/strong> (director: “Little Rock”, “Burden of Proof”<\/em>); and Madeline Savoie<\/strong> (playwright: “Splinter, Winter, Bloom”<\/em>; director: “Animate Objects”<\/em>). They join me to talk about how these plays developed, and what to look forward to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival<\/a><\/strong> runs from July 24-August 3 in various locations in Fredericton, including Memorial Hall at UNB campus and outside the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and a few other locations downtown. Slither, Wither Boom<\/em> is part of the Play Out Loud<\/strong> series playing on Sunday, July 28 at 2pm. Animate Objects<\/em>, Little Rock<\/em> and Burden of Proof<\/em> are part of the Play Out Loud<\/strong> series playing on Saturday, August 3 at 2pm at Memorial Hall. <\/p>\n
