\"\"The 2nd annual CHSR Battle of the Bands drew a bill of 18 bands and a packed house to the 7 hour show. The scene was chaotic and loud, and the music boomed long into the night.
\nAfter the dust settled three bands emerged with sheepish grins and some prizes:
\n283<\/strong> – won first place and 30 hours of recording time at Outreach Productions.
\ndas Radio<\/strong> – won second place and free consultation time with Waye Mason of No Records.
\nIra Vagina and The Rainy Day Women<\/strong> – won third place and music equipment from Tony’s Music Box and Yamaha Canada.<\/p>\n
