My guest today is Amanda Munday<\/strong>, the Executive Director of New Majority<\/strong>.<\/a> Their mission is to “activate young and first-time voters, ensuring [their] voice is heard where it counts”. They recently came to UNB campus to encourage youth to be involved in voting for the federal election, and she joins me to talk about their goals, scope of activities and encouraging people across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The federal election is happening on April 28, but there are opportunities to vote on campus or in other places in advance of the election day. Additional information is available at Elections Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\n
