The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Canada was founded in 1998, and in\u00a01999 the Corinne Boyer Chair in Ovarian Cancer Research was established\u00a0and co-funded with the University of Ottawa, which was later renamed to\u00a0Ovarian Cancer Canada. In 2007 Ovarian Cancer Canada and the National\u00a0Ovarian Cancer Association joined together to create the organization that\u00a0is existence today.<\/p>\n<p>The Fredericton Walk of Hope for Ovarian Cancer Canada began in 2009 with\u00a0the leadership of Nicole MacFarlane. The symptoms are varied, vague, and easy to miss. The kickoff is at\u00a09:30 AM\u00a0in Officer\u2019s Square, and will include a warm up, registration, and\u00a0then the Walk.
