This means that the sun rises and sets on our volunteer membership! Public radio in the best sense of the world, we are a 100% non-profit operation.<\/em> CHSR 97.9fm is the first FM station and the first in stereo in Fredericton NB. We are 52 years old and running, having gone from closed circut broadcasting to AM then finally to FM. Boasting some programs that have been running for over 20 years, every year we add new programs\/shows to the mix to keep it interesting. We have the largest music library east of Montreal.
