Is it the ability to move mountains? Then, pick up a stone.<\/em><\/p>\n

Is it solving world hunger? Then, feed someone.<\/em><\/p>\n

Is it improving education? Then, teach someone.<\/em><\/p>\n

Change in the world is not only accomplished by god-like powers to change things drastically — in fact, it mostly isn’t that at all. Really, it is the collective actions of billions of people which make all the difference. My guest today is Scott MacAfee<\/strong> of the Economic and Social Inclusion Corporation<\/strong>, <\/a>a group trying to solve the world’s problems on the local level, by changing what we all do. Their latest initiative is Small Acts, Big Impact<\/strong><\/a>. It reminds us that we not only make a difference in the world by our personal actions, but that these actions should be celebrated. We talked about the kinds of acts that are needed and what you can do, as well as the attempts by the organization to help celebrate those acts, either by retweeting on Twitter<\/strong><\/a>, highlighting them on Facebook<\/strong><\/a>, showing them on Instagram<\/strong><\/a>, or mapping them on their website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, the question is: what #smallact<\/strong><\/a> are you going to do to change the world, at least for one person?<\/p>\n
