\"LunchBox-MusicNB\"<\/a>Did you know that you can do what you love, and that money will follow?<\/p>\n

It’s possible — but you still have to treat it like a job<\/em>. You have to take it seriously, and you have to include within your passion the forms to fill out, research to be done, and time on the administration side.<\/p>\n

This is part of what will be discussed at an upcoming workshop being presented by Music NB, entitled “Do What You Love And The Money Will Follow”<\/strong>. The workshop will be held at Cafe Loka<\/strong> on Wednesday, February 17th<\/strong> from 7pm<\/strong> until 9pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My guest today is Jean Surette<\/strong>, the Executive Director of Music NB<\/strong><\/a>. We talked about Music NB in general and how he came to be involved (from drummer to executive!), as well as some of the pitfalls, concerns and necessary tasks to making your music your job that will be tackled in the upcoming workshop.<\/p>\n
