During the summer, the Fredericton Arts Alliance<\/strong><\/a> brings a pair of artists together in the Barracks to practice their art for all to see. These artists come from a wide variety of disciplines, from painting and sculpture to basket-weaving and writing. As each pair of artists comes in, we’ll be talking to them on the Lunchbox.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My guest today is Bess Forrestall<\/strong>, an oil painter recently returned from a trip in India and inspired to capture what she saw there. She is currently in the Barracks demonstrating her techniques, from layering a painting from far to near, projecting photographs and using a muted palette.<\/p>\n
