My listening was all over the place, from listening to the double-album of The Police<\/strong><\/a>: Live!<\/em> to bobbing my head to R\u00f6yksopp<\/strong><\/a> and Deltron 3030<\/strong><\/a>. In there I also mixed in a little Billy Bragg<\/strong><\/a> and Old Crow Medicine Show<\/strong><\/a>, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds<\/strong><\/a> and Battles<\/strong><\/a>. I just picked up a bunch of post-rock\/ambient\/experiment\/post-apocalyptic stuff as well as Scottish stuff to listen to toward Highland Radio<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My album’s of the week have been Ontario’s Mokomokai’s\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>Poison Whiptail<\/em>\u00a0and from Saint John the new No Man’s Throne<\/strong><\/a>, plus the Beach Boys<\/strong><\/a> ‘Greatest Hits.<\/em><\/p>\n

I have been absolutely LOVING the Benjamin Booker<\/strong><\/a> EP (I think his vocals and songwriting are amazing)!!! Also loving Civil Wray<\/strong><\/a> for the very same reasons!!! Can’t hear enough of these 2 eps!!!!!\u00a0My other picks for the week that I have been loving are Chillteens<\/strong><\/a> and Property\/\/<\/strong><\/a>, both Fredericton bands that are so chill and so beautiful!!!! Great summer music!!!!<\/p>\n

I revisited two records from The Franklin Electric<\/strong><\/a>. Blue Ceilings<\/em> came out earlier this year and it’s awesome. But This Is How I Let You Down<\/em> was probably my favourite record from 2014.
