us.\u00a0 For those who don&#8217;t know Kelty, there&#8217;s a long list of accolades we could list but the key points are that she&#8217;s:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Former STU Women&#8217;s Hockey Captain<\/li>\n<li>The 2016 AUS MVP<\/li>\n<li>A 2017 Silver Medallist for Canada at the Winter Universiade (It&#8217;s like the Olympics for University Students)<\/li>\n<li>A 6th Round Pick and Rookie playing with the CWHL&#8217;s Calgary Inferno<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s right, we&#8217;re joined by an honest to goodness professional hockey player.<\/p>\n<p>We talked about many a thing, mainly what brought her to St. Thomas, what it was like to reach such highs with a University program.\u00a0 What being drafted was like, and how it&#8217;s different being a pro.\u00a0 We also asked some fun things like what road trips to China are like because the CWHL has a partnership with two Chinese teams.<\/p>\n<p>We also touch briefly on the very small salaries afforded to Women&#8217;s Professionals and Kelty teaches us what the Olympic process is like for the Women who are over in Peyongchang.<\/p>\n<p>After we&#8217;re off the phone with Kelty, Sean and I dicuss the racist remarks lobbed at Devante Smith-Pelly, and Handicap the Men&#8217;s and Women&#8217;s Hockey Finals at the Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>I also admit to being willing to make a bet I&#8217;m glad I
