It&#8217;s also\u00a0<strong>Worldwide Knit In Public Day<\/strong>, so salute all those people bringing the threads together.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunday<\/strong> is\u00a0<strong>World Blood Donor Day<\/strong>, so consider how you might be able to share some of your life, to save another&#8217;s. It&#8217;s also\u00a0<strong>International Bath Day<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Cupcake Day<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Bourbon Day<\/strong>, so sounds like it&#8217;s time for a spa (maybe at home).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service New Brunswick<\/strong> would like to remind you that you were only given a limited-time extension to\u00a0<strong>renew your licence, registration, certificates and other permits<\/strong>. It&#8217;s time get your documents up to date, and fortunately you can do a lot of it <a href=\"http:\/\/snb.ca\">online at <strong>snb.ca<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Remember that the new displays of artworks in UNB&#8217;s working collection will be presented by the UNB Art Centre at 5pm on Friday. In\u00a0<strong>Revelations<\/strong>, they hope to show works of many well-known and lesser-known New Brunswick artists, including works that are rarely seen. Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/facebook.com\/unb.art.centre\"><strong>their Facebook page<\/strong> <\/a>for more details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>This Saturday<\/strong>, the City will be doing a\u00a0<strong>special curbside cleanup to collect the debris of the severe thunderstorm of last week.<\/strong> Have your materials bundled or bagged and at the curbside by\u00a0<strong>7am<\/strong> on\u00a0<strong>Saturday<\/strong>. This is for\u00a0<strong>smaller debris and yard waste only<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tnb.nb.ca\"><strong>Theatre New Brunswick<\/strong><\/a> has announced that it is doing\u00a0<strong>Summer Theatre Camps<\/strong>. It has worked out safer ways to do it with respect to COVID-19, and will give kids (and parents!) a much-needed relief from being at home all the time.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FrederictonFarmersMarket\/\"><strong>Boyce Farmer&#8217;s Market<\/strong><\/a> will open on Saturday this week. While they have reduced capacity and vendors, it&#8217;s important for all of us to find ways to support them with patience and patronage. The market opens at 8am on Saturday and runs until 1pm.<\/li>\n<li>This\u00a0<strong>Saturday at 1pm<\/strong>, there will be a\u00a0<strong>Healing Walk in Memory &amp; Justice for Chantel Moore<\/strong>, starting at City Hall downtown. Friends, family and allies are asked to join, but are also asked to respect the protocols established for the event.\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;All are welcome, but we ask that you take careful consideration of the details described in the Healing Walk Protocol, and follow the protocols earnestly. We acknowledge Dr. Imeda Perley (Opolahsomuwehs) for the composition of this Healing Walk Protocol.<b><i>Chantel Moore\u2019s Healing Walk Protocols<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brothers and Sisters, Elders and Youth, let us join our heavy hearts, our furious minds, our gentle spirits to follow the ancient tracks of our people to stand up for justice, to sing our songs of healing, to invoke all our spirit helpers to guide us towards our peaceful perseverance during this tragedy and pandemic.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will walk in both silence and chants to honour our emotions and heal both our historical and contemporary agony of injustice.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will carry our gifts of language to bless our purpose and refrain from using profanity that does not belong to our language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our women will carry our gift of compassion in a bowl of water to be brought to a designated sacred place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will wear our ceremonial skirts and shirts to honour our nations colours and pride<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our voices will echo love not hate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Smudging will help us to comply with our Wampum Laws of peace and to minimize displaying acts of anger that may disrespect our cause<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Healing Walk should never be called a \u201cprotest\u201d, this is not our traditional word, we instead use \u201cIkatomone\u201d(eek-gut-moh-neh) which translates to \u201clet\u2019s guard\u201d our way of life, our languages, our ceremonies, our rights to declare justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Sacred Drums will soothe our shared anguish as we converge our thoughts to healing Chantel\u2019s family and her memory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Sacred Pipes will invoke our power to connect to our ancestors who are walking with us within our DNA<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Red Shawls will be a symbol for all MMIWG and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Moccasins will allow us to walk with stamina a gift from our four legged relatives and mostly to leave our sacred tracks to honour those who went before us and to leave behind for those yet to be born!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please keep in mind to follow our safety precautions of social distancing, hand sanitizing and wearing masks to remain safe from Covid-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regardless of race or background, we ask that you follow the protocol. The\u00a0 protocols keep us safe, and maintain our intention. Chantel\u2019s catchphrase was, \u201cstay golden!\u201d. We honour her by wearing gold and yellow<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wearing rainbows.
