\"\"<\/a>I had the pleasure of catching up with\u00a0Tony Merzetti<\/strong>, the Executive Director of the New Brunswick Filmmaker’s Co-operative<\/strong><\/a> and one of the organizers of the\u00a0Silver Wave Film Festival<\/strong><\/a>. He told me of the history of the festival (now in its 21st year) and some of the highlights from the current and past festivals.<\/p>\n

The Silver Wave Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> runs from November 4<\/strong> through the 11th<\/strong>, with three in-person screenings and events hosted at the Playhouse. The Special Gala Screening + Q&A<\/strong> <\/a>is on Friday, November 5<\/strong> at 7pm<\/strong>. The NB Shorts Showcase<\/strong><\/a> is on November 6<\/strong> at 7pm<\/strong>. And the Silver Wave Awards<\/strong><\/a> ceremony is on November 6<\/strong> at 9pm<\/strong>. Virtual screenings are hosted through the Eventive<\/strong><\/a> service, and are free to view.<\/p>\n
