My guests are Tashiina, Lan Thockchom, Billy Riley, and Lucas CA who make up the Montreal band Love Language. We discussed the group’s new song\u00a0Indian Cowboy\u00a0<\/em>and the frustration that comes with finding pride in one’s Indigenous identity in a colonial state that only supports Indigeneity if it fits in the parameters of Christian colonial culture. We also discussed the band’s influences and creative process, as well as the lobsters and the best place in town to get fish and chips.<\/p>\n
