Brunswick have a date on when they will receive their promised 10,000$ retention bonuses from the Holt government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was announced that 9,950 retention payments will be sent out on December 19th, with the hopes that they will be received by Dec.31st or shortly into the new year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approximately 1000 LPNs under the Canadian Union of Public Employees, or CUPE, have yet to sign the provinces letter of agreement as they <\/span>are waiting on a formal letter of commitment from the government to repeal Bill 17, the Pension Plan Sustainability and Transfer Act, which transferred several locals represented by CUPE from a defined benefit pension to a shared risk model.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bonuses will cost the province $83 million, which is an additional $60 million added to the previously budgeted 23 million for the provinces wage
