\"LunchBoxNotableActs\"<\/a>Fredericton is filled with festivals all summer long, but sometimes it is possible to forget that it’s not\u00a0all<\/em> music. Len Falkenstein<\/strong> has been working for a dozen years with the Notable Acts Theatre Company<\/strong><\/a> to bring a festival of theatre every year! This year’s festival begins on July 24 and runs until August 4, and brings theatre\u00a0out<\/em> of the theatre and into the community! Cedric and I talked to him about the origins and growth of Notable Acts, the thrills and challenges of staging theatre in unusual places, and the recent successful presentation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest<\/em> in Odell Park. Len also brought with him two of his actors (Jesse LaPointe, Ian Goff) to perform part of a scene from one of the site-specific Street Scenes plays<\/span> taking place at the York St Train Station called “The Station”.<\/p>\n
