Good art engages the mind — so does a good game!
… and every once and a while, you should probably step back from the Internet..
Two guests today, both presenting you with very interesting opportunities to have fun in this city. My first guest, Travis Grant, is the co-founder of the soon-to-be-open board game cafe Unplugged. We chat about games and he tells me how it will operate and what it will look like. To say I’m excited about is an understatement!
And my second guest is Sarah Beth Shiplett from the UNB Centre for Musical Arts. She’s here to tell us all about a performance coming up tonight at Memorial Hall, centred around a long piece by Bernard Herrmann, who classic movie soundtrack enthusiasts will recognize as key to films like Psycho. Head to the show on Wednesday night at 7:30pm for a great musical performance!
Music today:
- Gabrielle Papillon brings us the title track from her album Little Bug;
- Bry Webb sing the AM Blues, from the album Free Will;
- and Song On The Radio by Amelia Curran, from her album They Promised You Mercy.
