Soft and sensual like silk in your ears, Montreal’s female electro pop duo Milk & Bone’s full length debut release Little Mourning is hypnotizing, dark, and sweet. Warmly singing lyrics like “You’ll never say you like me, I’ll never be your friend”, Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin’s crystal clear lyrics layered on top of a dreamy melody is refreshing in a genre that’s over populated with reverb heavy/over textured tones. Listen if you like to daydream.
