The Lunchbox Interview: Hannah, Robbie & Kat (NFTC’s “Songs of the Seer”)

Posted on 2018-03-09 by encaf1 Posted in The Lunchbox

The magic of theatre allows us to travel anywhere, any time — even worlds that don’t exist — because the real power of theatre lives in our minds.

My guests today are Hannah, Robbie and Kat, three writer/director/actors in the upcoming production of Next Folding Theatre Company called “Songs of the Seer”. This production is a highly-collaborative and utterly original combination of the visions of 11 writers working on two different teams based on entirely different perspectives of a fantastical world based on the words “steampunk werewolf”. The trio talks about the creative process of transforming this idea into multiple stories set on stage.

“Songs of the Seer” opens Wednesday, March 14 at 7:30pm at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre and runs each night until Friday night. Be sure not to miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
