Music, like all art, is changing as humanity changes, and reflects our current state of being — hopefully, in all ways better than ever before.
My guest today is Nadia Francavilla, the curator (and participant) in a new Contemporary Music Festival hosted at UNB. She joins me to talk about the inspiration for the festival and the diverse and exciting contemporary creations which will grace the stage.
The festival contains 4 events, all of them hosted at Memorial Hall on UNB Campus, 9 Bailey Drive:
- Friday, November 15 @ 7:30pm: String and Wires (mainstage)
- Sunday, November 17 @ 7:30pm: With A Blue Dress (mainstage)
- Monday, November 18 # 4:00pm: PANEL: The Process of Creation from a Female Composer Perspective (room 27)
- Monday, November 18 @ 7:30pm: Rose Bolten: Portrait (mainstage)
