Longevity, persistence and maintaining a love of the craft sets some artistic endeavours in a class by themselves.
My guests today are Corinski Nowlan (Herbert The Cow Productions), Scott Shannon (Nasty Shadows Theatre Company) and Ryan Griffith (Next Folding Theatre Company), here to celebrate 25th anniversaries for two of the companies with a triptych of plays in a production called The 25th Wall. We discuss the exploration that each company and author engages is, the dark and weird productions they have planned, and what drives them to write in their own universes.
The 25th Wall opens in Saint John at The Phoenix on December 5, plays in Moncton on December 6 at the théâtre l’Escaouette, and then runs on December 11 and 12 at Memorial Hall.
