As summer winds down, we say goodbye to a few shows and welcome a few interim shows!
Two new series join our Friday line-up: REVISITATION (2pm) and For The Birds (2:30pm)
Thursday changes with The Public Debate and EXXTRA joining, and BRN moving to Tuesday nights.
It’s an all-day special marathon on CHSR today, as we join with stations across the country to celebrate French language and culture with La Rendezvous de la Francophonie! Documentaries and stories from 8am to 7pm. (STU Lunchbox and AQ Radio at noon.)
Because the U Sports Men’s National Tournament is going to be broadcast on CHSR, Democracy Now! will be heard at 11am on Thursday and Friday of this week.
Tune in tonight at 7pm for the start of the AUS Men’s Hockey final tournament!
CHSR will be bringing you live coverage of the AUS Men’s Hockey Semifinal series when UNB hosts St Mary’s on Thursday, February 22 and Friday, February 23. Join us at 7pm each night!
Listen on Thursday for the Homelessness Marathon. We will be joining stations across the country in examining the issues, talking with people directly affected, and discussing how we can all can help to tackle this problem. The marathon runs from 11am to 7pm. (Democracy Now! will still air from 1pm to 2pm.)

Every Spring the ground comes free, new shows are planted in the ground to grow and the shows which are leaving are bid farewell. This week starts those changes with three new shows being added, and a few other shuffles. We’ll be seeing a number of shows come to a hiatus (and possibly a halt!) this summer, so now is a great time to bring your ideas to CHSR and create your own show!

Most people mark the arrival of summer by the change of the weather; I tend to mark them by the change in our schedule.. 🙂 Yes, it’s time for the summer schedule, so some shows are heading out, some are brand new. Here’s the run-down:
After the great debut of our two newest sportscasters last Saturday, CHSR-FM will return to the Aitken Centre again this weekend to bring hockey fans around the world live coverage! UNB will be playing against Acadia on Friday night and Dalhousie on Saturday. On Friday and Saturday, tune in to 97.9 FM in the Greater
Another term has begun, and that brings with it some changes to the schedule. The new jazz and blues show Beyond the Blues began last week. It runs every Tuesday morning from 10am until 11am.
