What would you do to relive some memories of times and people gone past?
Today’s show deals with memories…
Up first, Kaylee Stevens has just started working with the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, but she hits the ground running as the CSAC celebrates it’s 10th year! We talk about the historic perspective of the building (celebrating it’s own birthday — 130 years!), the valuable things that the CSAC does under it’s banner of “Opening the doors to creative expression for all”, and of the exhibition of schoolchildren’s works opening today, called School Daze.
Second, Tim Rayne (film-maker, Station Manager and host of the M-F morning show Instant Breakfast) to talk with Elizabeth and Mitch from the EvenMarks Media Productions. They’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to support their senior film project, The Last Take. Join us as we talk film, the process that’s come so far and the excitement of making films here and now.
Music today (featuring more from the Shivering Songs festival):
- Glory Glory perform this evening, perhaps something from ZOMBIES!!! like Maintain Your Composure;
- And to give my guest a graceful exit, we have You Can Go by Rachel Ries from her album Ghost of a Garden. She played last night on Shivering Songs.
