Listen to Beneath The Lab Coat Saturdays at 11:30am on 97.9FM! This past Saturday we had Alex Bond on the program. He is the Senior Curator in Charge of Birds at The Natural History Museum in the UK, which has one of the largest collections in the world. More broadly, Alex is an ecologist and conservation biologist, with a focus in marine birds and oceanic islands, using a mix of lab, field, and analytical techniques to better understand natural and human-caused changes to the natural world. We spoke about seabird conservation, plastic pollution in the oceans and possible solutions to this massive problem.
