Listen to Beneath The Lab Coat Saturdays at 11:30am on 97.9FM! This past Saturday we had Professor Ben Newling on the program. Professor Newling completed his BA in Natural Sciences and PhD in magnetic resonance imaging of fluid flow at the University of Cambridge, before working at the University of Surrey as a post doc. He spent two years with Unilever before moving to UNB in 2002 and discovering that teaching is just as exciting as MRI. Today he lives in Fredericton with the marvellous Anita, Esme, Alice and James the rabbit. While in studio we spoke about his current MRI research, some of the struggles that students commonly have with physics and some of the most important things that physics can teach us!
