CQ: Most persistent, ancient holidays seem to be apparently religion acting as mass psychologists to celebrate good times and counter-program against dark times (like Winter) — so should psychologists (under the guise, perhaps, of governments) be put to work creating holidays and celebrations that will be used in space, on Mars, or on future planets — or should such celebrations only be allowed to develop “organically” from a combination of mass meme and clever capitalism?
