Dr. Audrey Limoges is Assistant Professor at the department of Earth Sciences at UNB Fredericton. She is specialized in the use of microfossils and other biogenic tracers preserved in marine sediments as tools for paleo-environmental reconstructions. Her work focuses on the interplay between climate, sea ice, ocean circulation and primary production. Through the study of the long-term response (centennial to millennial) of ecosystems to the natural variability of environmental parameters, her work aims to better predict the impact of ongoing climate and human-induced changes on marine ecosystems.
