Sometimes, all it takes is a moment to see nature in action and an opportunity presents itself for future study.

My guest today is Charlotte Toner, a BScEM (Bachelor’s in Science, Environment Management) wildlife conservation honour’s student who’s senior research project is looking at the behavioural patterns of a species at risk, a grassland bird called the bobolink. She joins me to talk about her path to discovery her passion for the sciences, her specific research into this intriguing, far-ranging migratory bird and her plans to continue this research into an accellerated MScEM degree.
