History is often just a list of facts and events and actors, but to better understand it, it may need other things that fiction brings best.
My guest today is Thomas Hodd, the Saint John playwright behind an upcoming Theatre NB production of O’Brien. He joins me to talk about the origins of this play, a story which he first encountered when he was a youth working at a museum.
O’Brien opens on March 5 at TNB’s Open Space Theatre and runs until the 8th, at which time it begins a tour of the province before returning back to the Open Space Theatre for it’s last performance on March 16. See the TNB website for more details.
