To be a poet is a condition, not a profession. – Robert Frost
This weekend is the 13th Annual UNB Poetry Reading Weekend, and my guest today is Jenna Albert, a Master’s Student in Creative Writing at UNB. We talk about the impact poetry has, both in her life and to people in general, how she came to discover poetry and choose it over law, and she shares one of her poems to be published soon.
The UNB Poetry Weekend runs October 1 and 2, and features a number of different readings during three presentations each day, at 11am, 2pm and 8pm in Memorial Hall at UNB. These are free, and people are welcome to take in one or all of them!
