It’s expensive to be an artist on the way up…
My guest today is Jessie Brown, the lead singer and writer for the band of the same name. Her powerful voice comes from Halifax, but she’s going on a tour called “We Ain’t Got No Money To Tour”, which is the subtitle of their brand new single, Debt. We chat about the changing sound over the years, the recent album recording which they are working to afford to release, and the cost of being a band.
