It’s time once again for the annual celebration of new and local playwrights from across New Brunswick in the festival known as NB Acts! My guests today are Len Falkenstein, organizer of the festival; Alex Donovan, playwright of Caged, and Jake Martin, playwright of Wasters. Alex and Jake are also directing eachother’s plays as well as performing.
We talk about the weighty issues that seem to be influencing this year’s crop of plays, highlights of the festival schedule, and Alex and Jake both discuss their own journey to each of their plays.
