Sometimes, you have access to resources you never imagined, and just need to realize them.
UNB has a lot of resources for students, faculty and staff, but sometimes they can be overlooked. My guests today represent two of the technology services on campus that can make the difference between doing the basics and doing the exceptional. Nancy Wood manages the UNB Media Lab, a center filled with tools for multimedia editing, printing and digital learning. Rebecca Ham manages the UNB Equipment Pool, which provides technology for recording and presenting multimedia, as well as laptops, enabling people to borrow items they need but can’t afford to buy.
The UNB Media Lab is located in Marshall d’Avray Hall room 234, open Monday – Thursday 9:30 am to 12:00 & 1:00 – 7:30 pm and on Friday 9:30 am – 12:00 & 1:00 – 4:00 pm. You can also contact them through Facebook.
The UNB Equipment Pool is located in Marshall d’Avray Hall room 133, open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 am – 8 :00 pm and on Fridays from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. You can contact them on Facebook as well.
