On today’s show, a pair of local musicians with upcoming shows!
I caught up to Fredericton artist Jason Anderson during his residency at Killarney Lake, and he shared some of his songwriting process and a brand new song (called Summer Gone). Jason will be playing at The Tipsy Muse Café on Friday, September 10 at 7pm.
Rick Sparkes (of Rick Sparkes + The Enablers) has been enthralled by music from a very young age, but has only recently been getting it recorded to share with the world. He joined me via Zoom to chat about his history with music, and the inspirations and efforts for the new album Pleasure in the Pathless Woods. Rick Sparkes + The Enablers will be playing with Hum & Hollow at The Cap on Saturday, September 11 at 7pm.
