Student life can be difficult — and expensive. Shouldn’t we look to make that easier?
My guest today is Brandon Amyot, who is the Interim National Chairperson for the Canadian Federation of Students. They are calling for a national day of action on November 8 to protest against ever-increasing student debt load, insufficient financial supports for students and universities, and the overloading of international student fees. We discussed some of the ways that governments (both federal and provincial) can contribute to one of the most crucial of opportunities for citizens: post-secondary education.
