Random chance is a wonderful thing! With two hosts down for the weather, I (Mark the Encaffeinated ONE) decided to pop in to cover the Lunchbox. At just that time, Dillon Ryan dropped by with his brand-new self-titled CD, Dillon Ryan’s Hindsight. I chatted with Ryan about his view of music, what life as an artist in the Miramichi is like, and how this album came about.
Music today:
- In honour of the wild weather week, we heard Something Like A Storm by Great Lake Swimmers, from the album A Forest of Arms.
- Around talking with Dillon Ryan, we heard two tracks from the self-titled album (Dillon Ryan’s Hindsight): Sudden Mystery and Out of Touch.
- And again because of the weather, we heard Stephen Lewis from his great new album Life’s a Garden with Caliente.
