Not convinced?
Then you haven’t been paying attention to Frostival! It’s the capital region’s biggest celebration, combining together over 100 events over 4 weekends (and several days of the week) to chase away the wintertime blues and replace them with art, music, theatre, museums, outdoor athletics and cultural celebration.
My guest today is Stacey Russell, who works with Tourism Fredericton to help make Frostival an incredible event. We talk about some of her favourite events, the organization of dozens of events, and some of the do-not-miss events for this season.
Music today:
- We began with JP Hoe with Save You (Here I Am Waiting) from the latest album, Hideaway.
- Another one of the Shivering Songs artists entertained us, with The Weather Station bringing us Way It Is, Way It Could Be from their album Loyalty.
- And the folks who started the Shivering Songs Festival are The Olympic Symphonium, here bringing us Seize The Day from Chance To Fate.
