Welcome back to Harmony Corruption on CHSR-FM! This week’s episode featured Paranormal Arson, a death metal project from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, as well as lots of new stuff as I got the chance to go to some new record stores (found a few absolute gems I’ve been searching for for years!)! As well, I played a bit of what I jokingly refer to as “Sadboi metal”-referring to the doomy/death/gothic metal emerging from Sweden and the UK in the 90s from bands like Paradise Lost, Katatonia, Anathema, Opeth, My Dying Bride and more. Lastly, I got into the nitty gritty metal history of Sodom’s debut album and the hilarious story of how the lesser version became the definitive version on CD!
