Toronto’s Adrian Underhill‘s new album
CU Again blends together pop and R&B sounds to create some chill, smooth, baby-making jams. Working with famed producer Kindness, who has worked with both Solange and pop Goddess Robyn, added a subtle electronic element to the record which gives some tracks a little funk undertone, even disco-esque at times.
It’s also nice to hear a record that’s sweet and about love rather than the trials of failed relationships and how awful the world can be to live in. And what’s most impressive is that this is Underhill’s debut album! With such a strong project launching his solo career I’m really excited to see what comes next.
