February 25, 2015 – Bondo had the chance to chat with singer/songwriter extraordinaire Ben Caplan over the phone before his Thursday night show at The Capital. The Hamilton born artist now calls Halifax his home, describing it as having that big town feel, adding that as long as you have a good head on your shoulders and an international airport nearby you can launch your career from anywhere when asked about why he hasn’t made the move to a big Canadian city.
Knowing that Canadian bands often take a beating when touring the USA, Bondo and Caplan also chat about why it has taken so long for him to finally embark on his first real American tour and the differences between American and European shows. Do Europeans appreciate artistry more?
